Mosaic Dairy Goats
Breeding Quality Animals Since 1988
Welcome to the web site
dedicated to my lifelong passion: Dairy Goats!
My herd officially began in 1988 when I got my 1st doe "Fawna"
& started
4-H, but my family had been raising dairy goats before I was even born.
What started as a milk source for extra lambs & my 4-H project has
grown into
a wonderful experience that has allowed me to travel all over the U.S.
and Canada attending numerous shows & conventions. I
have been fortunate enough to see, handle, & exhibit many
wonderful animals over the years. I have also made many great
friends along the way!
My family has been a big part of my goat adventure over the years.
My parents Jim and Nancy have been a HUGE help, as they kept
my animals for me while I was away at college. My cousin
Bonnie Graham is also a wonderful help to me.
She has the Windflower Farm Nubian herd in Fountain, CO. We
share our
animals back and forth soo much that it is really just like one big
herd.
Our animals are a huge part of our lives!
We spend tons of time, energy, and
resources to raise the best animals that we can. Herd Health is
extremely important to us. The entire herd is tested negative for
CAE and is retested annually prior to kidding. We have not and do
not have animals with CL or Johnes. We feed the best quality
forages (typically 3rd, 4th, or 5th cutting Alfalfa) and
a complete dairy ration, as well as providing all the health
maintenance measures that we
possibly can. We are proud of the animals that we raise and want
purchasers to be happy with the animals they acquire from us.
I hope you enjoy
this site. Please fell free to use images and
information you find here, however I ask that you credit the source or
provide a link back to the page. I enjoy phone calls and emails from
other breeders interested in these lines. Please contact me if
you have any questions. I do have kids and some adult animals for
sale or that can be reserved; contact me if you see something that
interests you.
